The PM1653 is a 2.5-inch SAS (Serial Attached SCSI) solid-state drive that offers outstanding performance and reliability. The SAS interface is essentially a solution that combines the advantages of SATA and SCSI interfaces. It retains the multiplexing and high-speed capabilities of SCSI while also incorporating the ease of use and cost-effectiveness of SATA interfaces. The drive utilizes latest V-NAND (Vertical NAND) technology, which stacks memory cells vertically to reduce volume and increase density.
