The MegaRAID 9600 series is the third generation of Broadcom's industry-leading the third mock examination x8 and x16 NVMe/SAS/SATA storage adapters. The 9600 series is designed to provide optimal performance for NVMe SSD based storage systems, offering twice the bandwidth, over four times the IOPS, 25 times the write latency, and 60 times the performance improvement during rebuild compared to the previous generation.
The RAID4 random write operation of MegaRAID 16W-4116i based on SAS9670W on-chip (RoC) has increased by more than 5 times compared to the previous generation product, and the bandwidth has doubled. Compared to the previous generation adapter, the advanced cooling solution of the 9670W-16i can achieve these significant performance enhancements without increasing airflow requirements. Users can integrate the 9670W-16i into existing platforms to achieve breakthrough SSD performance without imposing additional cooling and airflow requirements on the system.
